Announcing the 12th annual Tucson Humanities Festival: STORYTELLING, a series of free lectures, panel discussions, events and special guests, presented by the University of Arizona College of Humanities. Festival events and lectures will explore scary stories, myths and fables, and real-life tales from renowned guests, including best-selling author Walter Isaacson.

The Annual AISES National Conference is a unique, three-day event focusing on educational, professional, and workforce development for Indigenous peoples of North America and the Pacific Islands in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) studies and careers. Attendees include Indigenous high school and college students, educators, and professionals, including representatives from Tribal Nations, Tribal enterprises, and Indigenous-owned businesses.

Held virtually over three days, August 30-September 1, the program will offer information, diverse perspectives, networking, and much more. The conference will kick off with an afternoon session (1-4 PM Arizona time) on Monday, August 30, followed by morning sessions (8-11 AM Arizona time) on Tuesday, August 31, and Wednesday, September 1. In addition, special conference activities will be scheduled for Tuesday afternoon

Join the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine to learn about the cultural diversity of the region and explore ways we can support and acknowledge Indigenous communities. 

Please consider participating in an hour long health needs assessment for the Tucson Indian Center. The structured interview will focus on health needs, status, and experiences to inform the Tucson Indian Center on services and programs.  All information is confidential, and results will be in aggregate.  The interview can be done in person or by telephone and is open to any Tucson Natives, 14 years of age or older.
