Indigenous Resilience: Cultural Competency Training
When
UA AIR Indigenous Resilience Center (IRes) is inviting you to join a unique, timely and crucial cultural competency training which will be held on August 10th and August 11th, 2023.
This training will be held in collaboration with Holistic Wellness Counseling & Consultant Services. Over the course of two days, participants will examine the history of trauma and resilience of Indigenous Communities and delve into ethical practices of research while working with Sovereign Nations. The sessions will include breakout groups, interactive activities, and space for meaningful dialogue geared toward participants' inquiry and field of work. Continuing Education Units (CEUs) will be awarded for all participants who complete training.

The training will be in person, and participation in both days is required. Continuing education credit will be offered, as well as lunch. Spots are limited. Hope to see you there!
